Cheers and happy saison weekend! Fizzy mostly cloudy yellow body with two fingers of pearl white foam that fades. Smell leans heavy on the gin barrel, with accenting meyer lemon, tangerine, flowers, and slight grains, pleasant, botanical, and bright. Taste still has the huge oak, but the gin takes on a sweeter tone with the citrus and flowers accenting, get some grains and wheat but want more to break in stronger. Slight grass and brett mixed in too. Feel is bright, oak tart, sneaky botanical, and decently carbonated. The chardonnay barrel buckwheat will always hold a special place in my heart, here the gin sweetens and is not as complex in comparison. Still good but definitely more streamlined toward the fruitiness.
