We held back a portion of the Bière de Pieces #33 blend and aged it with 2 pounds per gallon of mango chunks. The infusion of mangoes and additional fermentation time with bacteria led to a beer that is more toward the acidic side for an Afterthought beer while still retaining balance from the mango.

Murky pale yellow body, white cap with no retention. Huge sour mango with red wine, white grape, light funk with wild yeast in the nose. Taste hits with acidic mango, lemon and orange, vinous oak with flowers, yeast and very light funk follow but never match the mango dominance fuller. A bright minerality emerges as it warms. Feel is more acidic than expected, very sour and bright, a touch thin. Would be fun in summer
