This one has been on a long trip across the brewery, first fermenting in a neutral oak barrel before subsequent aging in a former gin barrel, allowing for a light touch of gin to come alongside the usual vanilla character our gin barrel-aged beers tend to have. Those two small gin barrels were then blended with 2.5-3 pounds per gallon of strawberries resulting in a fruit-forward beer with backing complexity and mouthfeel from the barrels.

Cloudy bronze pour with standard white foam head and lazy lacing. Smells of fresh cut strawberries, brett, oak, pear, flowers, slight grapefruit, and vinous notes. Taste is simpler: strawberry, barrel, bretty funk with a hint of cheesecloth.
Decent depth in funk. Feel is sour, light, and oaky. I want the whole beer to be like that nose, but good as is
