Farmhouse Mild is our "anything goes" lower ABV saison where we combine base malt with whatever corn, wheat, rye, oats, etc adjuncts we have on hand alongside miscellaneous hops that are running low. This batch featured oat and wheat malt alongside Crystal, Citra, Cashmere, and Ekuanot hops. After primary fermentation, we transferred the batch to a gin barrel with a touch of a saison brewed with Kazbek and Perle hops, which ended a bit of extra earthy and floral character to the more citrus-forward Farmhouse Mild.

Cloudy bright yellow body with a white head that dies down into a thick collar. This one showcases the gin barrel beautifully without huge body, really nice combo of potency and elegance. Peach, house culture, might citrus and soft funk all there in smell and taste. Smell focuses on the funk more, taste the sour fruit, barrel equally. Feel is light and sneaky pale with a good level of sourness and lesser funk.
