Pours a clear burgundy with a finger of khaki foam. Aroma is toasted, nutted, and caramel malts. There is a kiss of plum as well. Flavor profile is toasted, nutted, caramel, and roasted malts. The roasty, char shows up as it warms. Plum gives it a little sweetness. Mouth feel is slightly fizzy and velvety, but is otherwise smooth with a medium thickness. Overall, a fair beer. Not super in depth, nor shocking, but it is fair.
