Inspired by the hometown Bradenton, FL, hard touring Americana folk quartet, “Have Gun Will Travel,” we being you “High Road Ale.” An American Pale Ale with plenty of hoppy punch all in the form of a sessionable Pale Ale. The natural hops bring out flavors of grapefruit and a hint of spice. This beer won National Champion at the United States Beer Tasting Championship in 2013.

Second beer down during my Sunday session at World of Beer UCF. This beer is labelled as Rock Brothers, I was told it comes from Cigar City.
The beer was pored from the tap into a lager glass, it appeared clear golden and almost glowed in the early evening sun. The head was solid and last for most of the drink.
The nose was full of spice and that was followed up on the front pallete. To me this is definitely more Spivey than other PAs. There was malted hops on the back pallete, it tasted almost like a larger.
I felt it was missing the key elements of a PA and was lost in a big larger glass. Not a bad beer, not my favourite ...

On tap at Bx Beer Depot. Poured into a pint glass.
Appearance - Hazy bright orange. Small white head that doesn't last.
Smell - Very orangey. Tons of orange. Minimal malt presence.
Taste - Super orangey hop flavor. Dry and slightly grainy. Pithy orange peel bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium to medium light. Bitter.
Overall - Not bad. First time having a citrex hopped beer. A little strong on the orange, but tasty.
