Nice marble bar and plenty of tables. The beers I sampled were very good to excellent. 9 beers on tap and only 2 IPA’s, hallelujah. They have a smoked porter Italian pilsner, saison, Amber, and other ales. Service was great as was the food. I highly recommend this place.

Great open industrial type space, excellent staff and service. Long bar with 2 big flatscreens on either side. There is an assortment of table sizes and the seating is in between high top and low tables and chairs, medium height I guess.
Beer selection the day I visited was 11 house brewed beers on tap and a good mix of styles. They have an attached brewing room and a retail section. They also serve mixed drinks and wine.
We were a party of 6 and had 6 deferent meals all were really good. Price I felt was an excellent value for what we had and service was friendly and prompt.
It has a kind of sports bar feel and they have music sometimes, family friendly and a good kids menu
They have a flat screen in the men’s room. There were quite a few people in there that had visited the whaling museum up the street.

10/17/18: After a fun "haunted" hike in the Freetown/Fall River State forest to Assonett Ledge it was time for beer and pub food...and by pub food, I mean fresh scallops!!
The beer selection was average, two ipa's on tap, one included a whole cone, wet hop style from 100% Vermont hops. The other was a lighter but much more aggressive hop charecter. My wife enjoyed their version of a classic Oktoberfest lager, then a pumpkin beer with a "rim" sweet, caramel and sugar which was the creative highlight for sure.
The building and atmosphere is exactly what you would expect being in one if the oldest New England whaling towns.

Very nice restraint with a good menu. I had marinated chicken sandwich which was lager and very tasty. The service was good. The brewmaster was there and he talked with customers.
I ordered a sampler of four beers. I enjoyed the white ale, American pale ale and Stout. The IPA was good but not great. If you are in the area it is definitely a well balanced brewery /restraunt. If you only like the super artisan craft beers like Heddy, Sip of sunshine or Trilliam then it's not for you.
