My college buddy brought a couple cans of Collision Bend Lake Erie Sunset beer to share at a House Party for the OSU vs ORE game.....which OSU lost by a point. It poured a hazy yellowish with white head that left some lace. The scent and taste had blood orange fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer!

 

 

 

 

Canned on 4/2/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale yellowish/golden; small eggshell white head that quickly fades leaving okay retention and lacing. The aromas are citrus forward. The blood orange leads the way along a nice amount of lemon. Some wheat and malts. The flavors follow the nose. More blood orange and lemon leading the way. Some fresh grass. It's slightly earthy. Moderate to low bitterness. The wheat comes through. Malts are there, but don't dominate. Finishes clean and probably on the drier side. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is very nice. It's light-bodied with very active carbonation. It's sharp, spritzy, crisp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid brew. The blood orange shines. It's refreshing and fun to drink. Not bad at all. I like it.

Smooth as silk. Great hot weather beer with more than a hint of orange.
