At Collision Bend Brewery, we believe great beer can do more than just taste good—it can make a difference. That’s why we created Hope Flows, a refreshing kölsch-style ale brewed with heart and purpose. Inspired by the traditional ales of Cologne, Germany, this light-bodied beer is slightly fruity, crisp, and clean, with a dry finish that allows malted barley and earthy hops to shine through.

Poured from a 12 ounce can, the body is a lightly hazy, gold, and yellow with one finger of foamy white head. Scant lacing.
The aroma has a cracker malt note. The taste follows nose and adds a light bitterness that balances the beer. Things dry up fairly quickly.
Mouthfeel is good: light and crisp. Strong carbonation.
A solid Kōlsch that steers clear of sweetness and allows balance.

Hope Flows by Collision Bend Brewing Company. Poured from the can into a pint glass this has a three finger thick head, webbed lacing& a deep medium golden body.
Smells like breadier malts and bright, zippy grains with lighter hops.
I taste a small touch of apricot or peach with these livelier grains and hops. Very clean and refreshing finish.
Medium-light mouthfeel with mild carbonation.
Overall, Hope Flows by Collision Bend Brewing Company gets a 4.5 from yours truly

Canned on 2/15/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a pale golden with some haze to it; eggshell white head that fades leaving solid retention and lacing. The aromas have some hints of corn, bread, crackers and citrus. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose. More corn and fresh bread. Some lemon and orange marmalade. Some fresh grass in the mix. Slightly earthy. Moderate bitterness. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's light-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, spritzy, crisp, smooth and refreshing.
This is a nice Kölsch. It's more or less what you would expect from the style. It's clean, crisp and refreshing. It's enjoyable stuff. I like it. The craftsmanship is on point. Well done.
