12 ounce can, best by 10/20/2024 stamped on the bottom of the can. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this can! Served in a Teku glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee. I think the taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt and dark bready flavors noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth, a bit coating and has a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good brew, worth picking up especially if you like tasty porters!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little porter pours a dark
blackish brown with a moderate head of khaki foam that settles to a thick
ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of toasted malts,
dark cocoa, subtle coffee, dark breaded malts, and sticky hops. Flavors
follow the nose with aplomb. Dark roasted malts dance with dark cocoa,
subtle coffee, dark cola, moderate char, dark breaded notes, and sticky
bittering hops. Mouth feel is medium, medium light carbonation that is
excellent for the style, and a balanced bitter malts and herbal sticky
hop finish.
Overall, exceptional balance, and very well done!
Cheers

Having this beer on-tap at the Euclid location. Served in a standard pint glass, this beer draws a dark amber/brown color with an off-white/tan head that’s about an inch thick when the first drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a very thick film layer of surface coating with a thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface and excellent lacing. Aromas of some toasted, bready malts along w/ some caramel and chocolate notes along with a slight earthy, slightly resinous hop presence. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned toasted, bready malts along with some caramel and chocolate sweet notes that’s rounded out with the perfect amount of earthy and resinous hop bitterness. A very good balance of flavors here. Has a crisp come also smooth light to medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. The body does seem on a slightly lighter side overall for a Porter, and I feel it works very well here for this beer. Has a clean finish, and all of the flavors linger nicely on my palate after each sip in the aftertaste. A very nice beer all around here.
