Having this beer on tap at the Brewery at the Euclid location. Served in a tulip glass, this beer draws a clear, medium golden color with some streams of Little bubbles rapidly and continuously rising to the beer’s surface. Has a white head that’s about 1/4 of an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles quickly to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass at the beer’s surface along with some small cluster swirls of surface foam. Aromas of some bready malts, yeasty and fruity esters, and some hints of spice. The flavor profile is quite similar, with the aforementioned bready malts, a bit of clove, banana and fig, a touch of yeast, and Belgian candi sugar sweetness. Certainly not overly sweet by any means. A good balance of all the different flavors. Has a slightly floral and herbal hop presence that gives just the right amount of bitterness to round out the flavor profile. Has a somewhat crisp, also smooth and slightly creamy, medium to full body mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish and all of the flavors linger nicely on my palate for the aftertaste following each sip. An enjoyable beer all around.
