Poured a crystal clear medium gold with around an inch of rapidly vanishing head. Pretty much what you'd expect for the style.
Scent was disappointing. Cinnamon, and an out-of-place funk.
Flavor was another let down. This is trying to occupy the "traditional Christmas beer" turf, but it just isn't hitting the mark. Cinnamon and ginger are there, but it tastes like they were just tossed into a middle of the road ale without actually going for quality or meaningful integration. The beer isn't necessarily bad, but it leaves me asking why they brewed it.
Mouthfeel on the lighter end of medium. Crisp. Refreshing.
Overall, there are a half dozen better versions of this style out there that are local to the area.
