I bought a bunch of these (4?) a while back (when they were fresh) and saved the last because I hadn't written it up in BA and because I wasn't super thrilled by it from the get go. So I procrastinated and now I feel bad about my drink. I mistreated it.
It pours clear yellow to deep gold with some fizz. The aroma is subdued (if I remember it didn't come out much with warming). You could call it clean. Same goes for the taste. The bitterness is sufficiently high to confirm you are in the US. Nice, full bitter aftertaste. Many foods would have trouble competing with all that.
Recommended. This is a good brew. I was hoping for something juicier but this is a valid brew with plenty of bitter body to satisfy most drinkers. I probably will not buy it again, but I still try (and recommend) anything from this brewer, they are great Ohio brewers!
