To make this beer we jazzed up our regular NAR by double-dry hopping it with fresh Simcoe. The result is a very unique combination of dank hoppiness with hard candy undertones. Even with the unabashed aggressive hopping this beer still is balanced with medium bitterness over a solid malt backbone.

16 ounce can from Sherbrooke in Edmonton.
Pours a clear golden orange with 1and 1/2 fingers of white head.
Aroma of crystal malt, slightly grainy, with pine notes, milder citrus.
Pine and slightly dank hops balanced by caramel sweetness on the mid palate - as warmed a bit of pleasant piney bitterness builds. Slightly earthy.
Solid medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation and a nice balance of hoppy bitterness and malt sweetness - leaving with a little piney bitterness to linger. Solid and very drinkable.
