650ml bottle - part of their Tidal Series, which are apparently just their seasonal releases, this one for Summer.

This beer pours a slightly effervescent, pale golden yellow colour, with three chubby fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly fizzy eggshell white head, which leaves a bit of sparsely-strewn, remote islet lace around the glass as it quickly sinks away.

It smells of grainy and bready cereal malt, saltine crackers, watered-down grapefruit juice (like the kind I give to my kid), simple syrup, and very, very subtle earthy, leafy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, red grapefruit peel, ethereal saline solution, white sugar, and more understated leafy, herbal, and floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-propping frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, with a nice airy creaminess arising as soon as things start to warm up a tad around here. It finishes off-dry, the malt and agave nectar exhibiting the most lingering fervour.

Overall - this comes across as a well-made version of the style, deftly balanced, and quite refreshing. Purists may have a certain truck with the additional sweetness, but it works for me, and I am going to enjoy the rest of this, as sunshine comes pouring through my windows.
