A collaboration brew with Rossland Beer Company.
Appearance - Pours a pale gold with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - mild earthy, leafy, floral, and hint of piney hops, bready malts, hint of pine resin, and earthy lager yeast.
Taste - earthy, leafy, floral, and piney hops upfront. The pine resin, citrus and grapefruit peel come through next. The bready malts and earthy lager yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops and pine resin lingering.
Overall - An interesting Cold IPA that started off on the mild front but turned itself around in the taste. A little work around the edges and you got yourself a stellar American IPA.
