Russia and beer often don't go together. Pit...or Пит...is no exception. It has decent flavor, nothing too special. It is a standard lager. I drank it straight out of the bottle, and it left no big impression. I had quite a few of them around St Petersburg, as most beers in Russia are lagers, and I just stuck with this one. It was decent enough to drink...

This is the flagship of the breweries products, but is non-descript at best. It pours a slightly dark, almost reddish gold, with a big fizzy head that disappears pretty quickly. The lace, however, is thick. There is a slightly sour, slightly soapy smell to this brew, while the mouthfeel is standard pale malt. The taste opens malty, with a touch of soap. There's just a touch of hops in the finish, but the aftertaste is malt above all else. Not a bad beer, really, but not a great one either.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
