Pours a clear gold under a small but compact white head that fades pretty quickly. The lace is runny, and therefore short-lived. The nose is pretty strong - malt mainly. The mouth is tingly sweet. The initial taste is best described as malty syrup, as it seems almost too thick. The alcohol bitter follows quickly, but the aftertaste is mostly foamy, with alcohol and hop tones. I suppose it is drinkable, but there are lots of things I'd rather drink.
