I got this on tap at a kiosk outside the Vladivostok train station before boarding the overnight train to Khabarovsk. It came in a plastic cup, but was magnificent to the eye. Deep burgundy hue under an ample contoured head that stuck around as long as the liquid did and contributed marvelous sheets of lace all the way down the plastic. The aroma was sweet caramel malt, fresh and enticing. The mouth was well carbonated and medium-bodied, with none of the sourness I found in the bottle. The taste opened with sweet caramel, but then smoothly transitioned to mature, mild hoppy bitterness. The lasting impression was fresh bitter chocolate. Quite yummy, actually.
