Found in a Vladivostok supermarket, in a clear half liter bottle with a short stubby neck and a gold and yellow label featuring the name (in Latin - not Cyrillic - letters) and a banner proclaiming the "taste of Mexico." Sugar is an ingredient (but not corn). Best 180 days after 3/10/05, I opened it on 4/3/05.
If they are trying to imitate Corona, they did a good job. Pours clear watery yellow under an admittedly good looking two finger snow white head with nice contour, good staying power and enough stickiness to produce excellent sheets of lace. So much for the good news. The nose is mild but full of ricey grain. The mouth is thin, light and amply carbonated. The taste is semi-sweet, grainy and very mild. This is a fitting beer for consumption on baseball's opening day, as it reminds me of watered-down ballpark beer. There is a slight trace of hops deep in the aftertaste, very easy to overlook. Why would anyone want to imitate this style?

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
