Crowler with a canned date of 02/24.
Dark brown color with a nicely dense head that leaves plenty of lacing down the glass. Aroma of baking spices especially nutmeg and ginger. The flavor reminds one of eating moms fresh holiday cookies and treats. Chocolate malt makes of the majority of the beer flavor. American yeast leaves behind little in the form of yeast influence. Feels a bit thin for my liking. Ample carbonation. A nice winter drinker.

This beer pours a dark brown color. The head is off white and one finger. The retention is good, and there's some nice lacing on the glass.
The nose is pleasing. It is malty, but there's another aroma that I'm having a hard time putting into words. It kinda reminds me of a fruity, raisin cake. Really pleasing. I also get a slight chocolate aroma. I keep smelling it because it is so pleasing.
Taste - hmmmmm. There is a slight hop bitterness on the backside. Some fruity flavor. Sweetness. Some chocolate.
Feel is a bit more on the watery side than I would expect for this type and ABV beer.
Quite delicious, and a pretty good beer for a cold winter night.

L: deep dark brown with some bright highlights around the edges under a robust lacy light tan foam blanket with good retention
S: has a light chocolate smell with mild coffee with low levels of dark dried fruit and a hint of smoky phenols
T: flavors are mildly sweet, rich and roasty chocolate and coffee and a moderate hop bitter accent that evokes dark Belgian chocolate
F: The body is medium high and the carbonation is creamy, soft and medium
O: This beer is not too assertive but it is flavorful, well rounded and easy to drink
