L: Brilliant deep dark brown with ruby highlights around the edges under a 2" light tan cap with good retention.
S: You can smell the chocolate from a ways off. Closer up reveals some dark dried fruit and some vegetal notes.
T: Big chocolate flavors lead supported by an assertive bitter with spice and dark dried fruit in the background. A little bit of chili heat shows up in the background and builds gently as you drink. There is very little chili flavor.
F: very rich and creamy with a medium full body and medium carbonation.
O: This is a big, rich, drinkable beer with interesting flavors.
