Crowler and also 16 oz can into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours darkest brown with a 1/2" dark khaki slightly soapy head that recedes to edge foam, low carbo, light wispy lacing.
S: Caramel candy, a hint of maple, a distant note of char, lightly nutty, figs.
T: A fast transition from sweet to slightly sharp bitter coffee char, caramel candy, a subtle moist dark soda bread note, cocoa, a nuance of oats. It has a bitter linger and aftertaste.
F: Smooth, gently creamy medium bodied mouthfeel with a medium-long medium-dry finish.
O: Mildly intense flavors, bold tasting and fairly bitter. Hints of dark milk chocolate cocoa and char bring out even more strong tastes. It is outstanding in its style.

L: Bright black under a massive, lacy 4" tan cap with good retention.
S: oatmeal with a trace nuts, caramel and chocolate
T: The chocolate in the stout immediately finds the caramel and the oats provide a counter balancing flavor.
F: very creamy, full bodied, medium low soft carbonation.
O: delicious breakfast in a glass.
