Copenhagen 30/7 2018. 50 cl bottle from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Deep yellow label with the Brewer’s Coat of Arms and the basic information.
Pours hazy orange with medium-sized bubbly white head. Stable. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sour and intense. A light sweet scent of ripe oranges. Acerbic fumes of Citrus. Tart whiff of unripe wild berries. Zesty.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sourish bitter, citric and lightly acidic. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fresh, acerbic, Summer beer if you like your beer tart and dry.
