Copenhagen 11/2 2018. 33 cl bottle of the short and chubby variety from Østerbro Vin & Spiritus, Østerbrogade, Kbh. Ø. Some kind of yellow flower form on the label. The shield of the brewery with a small sword and a D and a X hovering in the middle.
Pours hazy, opaque pale yellow with a white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweetish and lemonade-like. The wheat is peeking in. Light bitterness lurking in the background. Fresh and summerlike.
Medium strong carbonation providing prickly mouthfeel. Slightly thick texture.
Flavor is pleasant and pretty middle of the road compared to some of Ebeltofts more aggressive beers like Raw Power. Medium sweetness followed by slightly weaker bitterness. I would almost call it Gentle.
Not bad - but not what I am looking for in a IPA.

330 ml bottle, shared by my son. ABV is 5.9% (confirmed by the brewery). Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, pine and spruce, hints of tropical fruits. Smooth and pleasant flavour, not too sweet, with the same elements as the aroma. Moderate bitterness.

Pours a clouded pale golden color with a huge, spongy head atop.
Smells of dried grass, floral honey and orange zest supported dandelions.
Has a smooth mouthfeel to it with a lighter, easy drinking body, refined by a bubbly, effervescent finish.
Tastes of whole grain bread dough with lemon pulp, kiwis and unripe mango among lots of dried grass. Has a well carbonated, stony middlepart with some crackers and blood oranges and a scoop of additional wild honey. Finishes light with more honey, light kiwi, a little earth and matured, grassy hops.
Interesting interpretation of an ipa, with a well working adjunct in it. Not only do the flowers add a herbal touch to the ale, but also a bright honey like sweetness, which blends great into the lighter malt foundation of the beer.
