Copenhagen 17/10 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Burgundy label with Ebeltoft’s logo consisting of ancient runes.
Pours unclear golden yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a malty sweety odor mingling with a boozy sharpness. Sweet peach and fresh plums. Sour grains and alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a bit harsh. Lingers for a while. Finish is sweetish and boozy.
Potent, harsh with a light redeeming fruitiness.

330 ml bottle, bought at the brewery. ABV is 9.3%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, white kandij sugar syrup, stewed fruits and mild spices. Sweet and spicy flavour with the same elements as the aroma, also dead yeast cells and an unexpectedly bitter finish.
