Copenhagen 10/9 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Dark brown and orange version of Ebeltoft's usual label design.

Pours opaque, dark brown with a yellow-ish, beige head. Settles as patchy and thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, warm roastiness and hints of chocolate. Dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, brown sugar and dark alcohol.

Light carbonation. Medium thick, viscous, fat, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undercurrent. Boozy, warming finish.

Pretty light for a Damn Dark Stout but with enough ABV to hold its own.

Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Moderately sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, hints of coffee, moderate bittering hops.
