Copenhagen 8/1 2023. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Red label with a close up of hop flowers.
Pours opaque hazy, pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of exotic fruits mingling with a stronger scent of citrus fruit. Peach and Pineapple. Lime and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, oily, tingling and a bit lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sourish twist. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fresh and zesty and without any Christmas paraphernalia.
