Pours a hazy, opaque, purple coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of light, doughy wheat malt and tart fruit notes of raspberry, with much lighter hints of blueberry and mango. Taste is very much dominated by the fruity additions, with the mango coming through a lot more on the tongue than in the nose, and lactic acidity, with only hints of doughy wheat malt and lactose. Finishes with a light/medium tartness and some raspberry and mango lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is another one of those heavily fruited "Berliner Weisse" with lactose added that really is little more than a mundane Kettle Sour and doesn't have all that much in common with the style. Still, it's pretty enjoyable for what it is, with the lactose thankfully remaining firmly in the background and a good lactic acidity and balance of fruit notes, although the mango and raspberry very much dominate, with very little blueberry coming through.
