Copenhagen 21/5 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeeller Web-shop. Can looks like a piece of Mondrian with some disturbing wavy lines messing with the symmetry.
Pours opaque, dirty yellow with a medium-sized white head. Bubbly. Disappears more or less after 10 seconds leaving only thin, remnants of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with strong fruity sweetness and more moderate citric, tart, sour notes. Sweet passion fruit and mango. White sugar. Unripe berries and citrus.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate, tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a lighter tart undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Dry, tart finish.
Flavored Weisse which goes the sweet and flavored way keeping the tart sourness reined in.

Pours a hazy, dark orange coloration with a medium, fluffy, lasting head. Smells of light doughy malt and intense peach and passion fruit aromatics, with just a hint of vanilla coming through as well. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of light doughy malt and distinct peach and passion fruit notes, with just a hint of vanilla and a good underlying lactic acidity. Finishes with a medium acidity and some peach and passion fruit lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While it does irk me a little when brewers call their Fruited Kettle Sours a Berliner Weisse, this still makes for a very nice example of the style (Fruited Kettle Sour, that is). The fruit additions stand out very vividly here, with some quite sweet peach and tangy passion fruit notes, as well as lighter vanilla and lactose, which are noticeable, but never feel quite too cloying, although this still is a bit too sweet for my personal taste, which is balanced by a good acidity though. Overall, this makes for a very fruity and refreshing summer beer that's a little bit on the sweet side, but balanced nicely by a good acidity.
