Pours a hazy, opaque, bright orange coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus hops, with quite zesty notes of grapefruit and orange. Taste is a great balance of very light biscuity malt and rather juicy and zesty citrus hops, with notes of grapefruit, orange and lime peel, as well as a much lighter tropical accent of unripe mango. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some zesty grapefruit and orange notes lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A New England IPA that is rather dominated by zesty citrus notes, with only much lighter, tangy tropical accents, the combination of which lends an almost acidic feel to this. Just like Panic at the Disco, this feels just a tad one-dimensional, but for the opposite reason, being very citrussy while PATD was very tropical. Also just like it, it really makes up for that with a very vibrant and juicy hoppiness, although the mouthfeel is not quite as good, but still rather nice.
