Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, orange and mango, as well as just a hint of pine as well. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly resinous and earthy hops, with strong citrus and tropical, as well as lighter berry notes of grapefruit, orange, mango, papaya, gooseberry and blueberry, as well as just a hint of pine also coming through. Finishes with a light bitterness and medium hop burn, with some orange, mango and gooseberry lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
A very nice New England IPA with some quite vibrant and well-defined citrus, tropical and lighter berry hop notes, as well as a great, soft and pillowy mouthfeel. I really like how expressive and varied the hop notes are here, giving quite a bold, juicy feel to this, without a hint of booziness or overripe notes, although there is quite a bit of hop burn to this as well. Overall, this makes for a very enjoyable NEIPA with a great, bold and juicy hop character and creamy mouthfeel, which could have been even better if it wasn't for the hop burn though.
