Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and citrus/tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, lime and passion fruit, as well as some dank weed. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, dank and slightly spicy hops, with citrus and tropical notes of grapefruit, lime and passion fruit, as well as some white pepper and grassy weed. Finishes with a light bitterness and some grapefruit, passionfruit and dank weed lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This really makes for an excellent TIPA and I expected nothing less of Fuerst Wiacek, who are probably the premier maker of NEIPAs in Germany right now, having pushed Frau Gruber off the throne a while ago. This really brings out the best in a TIPA without any of the typical deficiencies, featuring incredibly vibrant and well-defined hop notes of zesty citrus, sweet tropical fruit and dank weed without turning too sweet or overripe. While there is a certain. mild booziness to this it really isn't too bad at all, while also having a great, soft and pillowy mouthfeel to it.
