Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus hops, with notes of papaya and tangerine. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly floral and dank hops, with tropical and and citrus notes of papaya, mango, tangerine and grapefruit, as well as some herbal weed. Finishes with a light bitterness and some papaya, tangerine and weed lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this disappointed me just a little bit compared to my recollection of the original Co-Sharenting, which I blame on the addition of Amarillo hops, it still makes for an excellent, quite juicy and dank New England IPA with a vibrant and well-defined hop character and great, soft and pillowy mouthfeel. It seems a bit less bitter and resinous than the original version, while being a bit more floral, with the mouthfeel not being quite as good as well. But this is all based on memory, with the original really standing out to me as possibly the best German NEIPA that I've ever had while this is "just" very good. It does have that certain, slightly floral "orange blossom" quality to it that I kinda dislike about Amarillo, but nevertheless makes for a very enjoyable, juicy and dank example of the style with a great mouthfeel.
