Served in an oversized snifter glass from the can.
Appearance: Amber tinted gold color with a light bubbles on the body and slight sediments to the body.
Smell: Warm honey aroma, the scent dissipates quickly after the first or second sniff.
Taste: Feels a bit like a honey wine, sweet and lightly malty with hints of warm white sugar and the malts give it a extra bitterness. If anyone's asks it's a American barley wine with a splash of west coast imperial IPA. Still a gem if you ask me.
Mouth: sweet after taste, medium carbonation which comes off sticky.
Overall: good brew, if you're drinking strictly barleywines for the night this is one of your first, only your last if you're not used to them. Always in a glass, salud!

Canned about a year ago. This is a remarkably pale barley wine, it poured with a short lived fizzy head. Leans to the sweeter side, lots of short bread, sugar cookies, honey, orange marmalade, plum pudding, and toffee. The finish dries out nicely, hints of stone fruit and light, grassy bitterness. More English strong ale than barleywine maybe, but I am thoroughly enjoying this, thanks @Beersnake1

Poured at just warmer than fridge temp. Pours an opaque orange with almost no head. Nose is full of rich caramel. Wow. Werther's all the way. A bit of apple and pear, and a nice bready malty layer. I wouldn't say the nose is overly complex, but what's there is very nice.
The taste is very good. Not hoppy at all. This does not, to me, fall within the category of American Barleywine. This is more English. Malty, caramel, oranges, biscuits, a touch of plums. It's mildly sweet. It seems a bit under carbonated, which could lead to a syrupy feel if it was too sweet. However, this misses that point by not being overly sweet. Slide white wine note comes through with time. Very enjoyable with a medium body. Alcohol content not detectable.

Pours a slightly cloudy, deep amber coloration with a large, creamy, lasting head. Smell is pretty non-distinct, with vague notes of caramel malt, red berries and honey. Taste is a good balance of caramel malt, red berries, with notes of strawberry and cranberry, some honey and hints of citrussy, herbal and resinous hops. Finishes bittersweet, with a light bitterness and some caramel malt, red berries and honey lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this may not be particularly complex or full-bodied, I still think that it makes for a solid example of an American Barleywine, with a good balance of malt and hops, as well as sweetness and bitterness, never feeling quite too sweet or boozy, with a decent bitterness in the finish, as well as some nice red berry, honey and herbal, resinous hop notes. Certainly better than I expected to be honest, and showing promise that Fuerst Wiacek can indeed do more than just endless NEIPAs, making me kinda curious about their Imperial Stout now.
