Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a large, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and tropical, citrus hops, with notes of mango, papaya, grapefruit and orange. Taste is an excellent balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly earthy and resinous hops, with tropical, citrus and lighter berry notes of mango, papaya, grapefruit, orange and gooseberry, as well as just a hint of black tea and pine coming through as well. Fibishes with a light/medium bitterness and some mango, grapefruit and hints of black tea lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
Another quite nice NEIPA from Fuerst Wiacek that's bursting with juicy, vibrant hops and features a good balance between fruity and earthy, bitter notes, with just a hint of pine resin as well. Having had a few brews with Idaho 7 hops lately, this made me once again realize how much I love them. Those earthy, herbal black tea notes that make this variety unique really resonate with me and even though they are not that intense here, they still manage to give a bit of an edge to this brew, preventing it from becoming just another fruit salad NEIPA.
