Pours a hazy, pale orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light biscuity malt and citrus, tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, lime and mango, as well as just a hint of herbal accents coming through. Taste is a great balance of light biscuity malt and fruity, juicy, slightly herbal and resinous hops, with strong citrus and lighter tropical notes of grapefruit, orange, lime and mango, as well as hints of eucalyptus and pine. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some grapefruit, lime and just a hint of pine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This makes for a very nice NEIPA that's quite heavy on the rather zesty citrus notes, while the tropical notes are a bit more laid back, with some herbal and slightly resinous accents adding to the flavor profile nicely here. I really like that zesty character here, with most of the NEIPAs I had lately playing more towards the tropical spectrum, with Simcoe and Ekuanot bringing some lovely pine and eucalyptus accents to the table here that spice the flacor profile up a bit.
