Poured from a 44cl can at Baobab in Porto. Nice look: almost crystalline cross between lemon and amber with a fairly thick head that settles to a finger’s width and lingers. Respectable cling. The beer has a pleasant, encouraging pineapple aroma. The taste is surprisingly bitter—almost bitingly so. It backs off to a still-stern ashy aftertaste with just the slightest hint of fruit. The texture is superb, being quite creamy and unctuous. Challenging flavor, but overall a satisfying, stand-up brew.
