Fuerst Wiacek "Spaghetti Western"
4,40€ / pint @ Canil Lisboa on 21 November 2024
Look: A cloudy golden body is capped by a fingers width of bright white foam. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Sweetish malt with berry and citrus notes.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma. It's sweetish but not too sweet with a median bitterness that leads to a dry finish. Slightly acidic, probably due to hop resins but not quite up to the "hop burn" level. Hoppy notes include tangerine, lime, mango, passionfruit, berry, and pine/earthiness/spiciness.
Feel: Medium bodied on the lower end and gently crisp-then-smooth.
Overall: A pretty good take on the NE IPA style.

Copenhagen 6/5 2024. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Brown can with strands of spaghetti forming the silhouette of cowboy.
Pours opaque hazy, slightly dirty, pale yellow with a small white head, Settles as thin patches of foam unable of covering much of anything. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruits mingling with a more subdued scent off citrus fruit. Peach and mango. Lime and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a tart streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pleasant NEIPA with a bitter streak.
