Copenhagen 1/4 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Colorful can with geometric forms that looks like a Mondrian painting.
Pours hazy, dirty, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Subdued fruity sweetness meeting a slightly strong citric odor. Canned peach and mango. Grape fruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, smooth texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and citric. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Fairly bitter and bit ruthless for a NEIPA. Intense and with a bitter bite.
