This Rotes Lager is full flavoured and rich with the taste of caramel, chewy raisin, brown sugar and toasted brown bread. Malty without being sickly and with a refreshing, balanced bitterness.

Pours a dark amber with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is malty and sweet with notes of brown bread, knäckebröd, citrus peel and some rye.
Taste is malty, sweet and spicy. Notes of brown bread, knäckebröd, rye and citrus peel with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice Rotbier. The can was a year old, but still very drinkable.
