This was actually the first ever IPA as such that I tried. Was impressed by the "elderflowery" smells (not knowing yet that these were the American hops), that left me wanting more. A year or so later it was off the shelves. Recently it came back again into production in a ridiculously small bottle of about 250 ml.
Had to try it again, "for the good times". Was surprisingly weak and thin, nothing really impressive. This time it left me wonder if it had always been this mediocre or is it only me whose tasting buds got distorted so much by the big IPAs throughout the years...
