Had this during the hiatus when Maltman's IPA was off the shelves in the Tescos of Budapest and was looking for something "American". Picked this up, not knowing yet what an American Red Rye Ale would be like. Was actually quite happy with the result, being well hopped, actually tastes very similart to a typical American Red Ale, which is good for a small Hungarian craft brewery.
The beer in itself is not outstanding but good enough for an American Red. Would be interested though in recent batches, as their IPA reissues had been a letdown, wonder how low they went with the red these days...
