16oz can stamped CANNED ON 08/01/22 (about 70 days ago) poured into a mug at fridge temp 5.4% ABV per can label. The beer pours mostly bright tarnished copper in color with khaki colored head. The head recedes to a thin ring and island. The aroma is sweet caramel, toffee, nutty malt. The taste is sweet caramel malt with a hint of nuttiness. Minimal hop expression or bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a simultaneously semi dry and watery finish. No lagering flaws detectable. Overall, fair. It's a well brewed American style oktoberfest, but the persistant sweetness ruins it for me personally.
