A modern take on a West Coast Pale Ale. Hopped with Mosaic & Cascade hops in the kettle then dry hopped with Simcoe, El Dorado, & CTZ. This beer is your Launch Point into bold hop aroma, crisp bitterness, and citrus and piney notes.

01/29/25. Poured into a glass mug.
A: Slightly hazy light amber with 1-finger off-white head with good retention and decent lacing.
S: Grapefruit and orange citrus with pine resin and mild floral aromas with slightly toasted malt notes
T: Flavor is hoppy with more resin along with grapefruit citrus and sharp bitterness.
M: medium-body with moderate carbonation and very dry finish.
O: Launch Point Pale Ale is an old-school pale ale in bitterness even though it is using new school malt and hop techniques. I think this beer would improve with the bitterness dialed down a couple of notches, but I think it has potential. This is a favorite style style for me, and I’d love to see them make some mods to this beer with a lot going for it.
