Note as of 15 Oct 2003: they have added a fourth beer variety - wheat. While the product is not great (see review), the fact that they have expanded their horizons is worth a cheer. Rah!
Tucked away on a side street in the heart of Moscow, Arsentich has the look and feel of a bavarian pub - except that it is very, very dark. All of the windows have been blacked out, and the artificial lighting is dim at best. They offer the for-Moscow standard three varieties, filtered pale lager, unfiltered pale lager, and dark lager. The equipment and training come from the HofbrÀuhaus in Munich, and the beers are good proximations of their Bavarian patrons. The food is standard Russian fare. This place is no reason to travel to Moscow, but after touring the Kremlin and Red Square, this is the place to go for refreshment.
