Once upon a time, Sanavalle (or ‘Healthy Valley’) was the name for Follina, given the particularly health-giving qualities of its climate and waters.

Sanavalle is an amber-coloured beer with malted barley notes, a light bitterness and good ABV.

Inspired by the “Abbey” style of Belgian beers, it’s the perfect companion to a platter of cured meats and cheeses. It also goes well with meat or fish dishes, desserts and chocolate.

11.2oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden burgundy color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of toasted caramel, dried dark fruits and malt. Sweet malty taste with caramel dried plum, fig and raisin.

A bit dark than the blonde stated, almost amber. Average foam, quickly disappearang.
Intense smell, abbey inspiration, ok. Malt, some biscuit, light fruitiness.
Godd maltiness in the taste, again biscuit and fruit. Full, bot not cloying at all.
Some candy sugar.
Well done belgian style, not exceptional, but clean and pleasant.
