Really dark brown color with brownish head. Aroma has toasted malt, dark bread crust, dark chocolate and cacao nibs. Taste is quite bitter and roasty upfront, heavy on the burnt bread, even slightly ashy. Finish lingers with roasted malt bitterness. Body feels pretty light for a 10% imperial stout, carbonation is medium. Although it has spices added, you cannot really taste any.
