A: Thick and cloudy orange-gold with actual FDA approved specs of glitter in the beer! What a fun idea. It's kind of difficult to see; not like a Rip Taylor but more like seeing an opal inside of a beer.
S: Wow. The passion fruit adjunct comes out really strong and smells amazing. A small hop and malt odor but mostly tropical fruit.
T: More tropical explosions in yer mouth. Gives way to plenty of piney hops to back it up. Fruit turns a little citrusy on the back end with lingering hop bitterness and more tropical fruit. Almost 4.5.
M: Viscous and thick for a pale but super drinkable. Lightens up a lot on the finish.
O: Interesting and well made pale ale; the new brewmaster really knows her $#*t. Also had a cherry chocolate cask version of their oatmeal stout that was excellent as well.
