Copper color with a two finger beige head with decent retention and keeping a constant plate.
Nice malty aroma with notes of chocolate, caramel, red apple, bread and toasted malts.
Flavor with notes of toasted malts, dark chocolate, lemon drops, earth, grapefruit, pine, hay, nuts and cinnamon. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation.
Altbier with great malt complexity, showing a big deal of their seven malt recipe. The non-shy 30 IBUs gave a decent balance to its malt intake. Nice to see the Mexicans exploring different styles with good results.
